This custom wire basket was built to hold a large, complicated engine part through a tough finishing process. Once the part was nestled into the basket, the lid (which is not pictured here to make it easier to see the inside of the basket) would be closed, locking the engine part into place and keeping it from bouncing around during the wash cycle.
