Join Marlin Steel and Hundreds of others to Urge Congress Act on Critical Tax Provisions

November 18, 2014 | American Manufacturing

Today, the Broad Tax Extenders Coalition is hosting a press conference that will discuss efforts by more than 500 different groups to urge Congress to work together to seamlessly extend, enhance, or make permanent expired and expiring tax provisions that are necessary to the growth and sustenance of U.S. jobs and the health of the economy as a whole.

These tax provisions help businesses grow and add jobs, and thus, more taxpayers. Without many of these provisions, businesses will have a harder time making large capital investments, causing job growth to stagnate.

The conference started at 10:00 a.m. today, but it’s not too late to join Marlin Steel and hundreds of other companies, non-profit organizations, associations, and coalitions in urging Congress to act quickly before it’s too late. Show your support and contact your congressman or senator and urge them to act now.

As the Broad Tax Extenders Coalition states in their press release about the meeting: “Now is the time to act. US factory jobs will grow when manufacturing companies have clarity on our R&D and job productivity equipment. We need this shot of confidence now.”
