SUBJECT: Marlin Steel Wire Products LLC's product, when shipped, meets or exceeds
the following statements.

Mercury Free Statement:
“MATERIAL WHEN SHIPPED IS FREE FROM CONTAMINATION BY:
MERCURY, RADIUM, ALPHA SOURCE, AND LOW MELTING ELEMENTS.”
Marlin Steel materials are free of “Low Melting Elements” such as, but are not limited to:
Lead, Cadmium, Beryllium, Hexavalent Chromium, Arsenic, and radioactive
contamination.

“Material certifications shall be Issued by the department independent of the
manufacturing department and validated by an authorized representative of the staff
independent of the manufacturing department.”

RoHS Compliance:
“MATERIAL WHEN SHIPPED IS FREE FROM CONTAMINATION BY: PBB,
PBDE, PentaBDE, OctaBDE, and BBP as required by RoHS requirements. Publication
available on the Internet.

California Proposition 65:
“MATERIAL WHEN SHIPPED IS FREE FROM CONTAMINATION BY: DBP, and
DnHP as required by California Proposition 65 requirements. Publication available on the
Internet.

REACH Directives:
REACH is the European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use (EC
1907/2006). It deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of
Chemical substances.
Marlin Steel Wire Products LLC embraces the directives of REACH to improve the
protection of human health and the environment through use of more environmentally
